It's the roads that charm you at first. Narrow winding pathways running across small houses. The air that smells cleaner and tastes sweeter. As you near this destination, the bells signal you in, always alluring and always mystical.
Dehradun has been my second hometown for as long as I can remember and between me shifting to Mumbai and moving on with life, I realised I hadn't visited for over 2 years now. This time when we went, we visited the Mindrolling Monastery located in quaint little Clement Town. Flanked by lush gardens, the air of peacefulness, and a small souvenir arcade – the monastery stands tall enveloped in a multitude of colour.

flags line each corner and the inside of the monastery itself is
colourful and covered with pictorial representations. We had a nice
time, strolling about, coveting each and every item in the tiny
shopping stores. Until next time....
